Of course RSS export capabilities are essential, so desktop products are not an alternative.

I’d be delighted to learn if anyone has already designed this.

Hi,
I’d like to see an extension to the existing feature set of del.icio.us that allows me to grab my own (partial) snapshot of a specific part of a web page to store with the bookmark.
As far as I can tell there is no online bookmarking service yet that allows me to add custom visuals to a bookmark. I have seen wists, but it’s not customizeable.

SnagIt can take the snapshots that I want (sometimes a website logo, sometimes some other part that sparks my interest), it’s just that there’s no way I can properly store that image in my list.

Of course RSS export capabilities are essential, so desktop products are not an alternative.
