CNET reviewed and compared six web browsers and the results are as below. According to WebSideStory, an independent Internet traffic site, as of April 2005, Internet Explorer use has fallen below 90 percent of the market in the United States and as low as 69 percent in Germany.
1st and Editors’ Choice - Firefox
CNET rating of 8
2nd - Netscape 8 and Safari RSS
CNET rating of 7.7
3rd place - Internet Explorer (with Windows XP SP2), Deepnet Explorer, and Opera 8
CNET rating of 7.0
