CSS Stylesheet Switching : Ad Free Option to Website Visitors

If you are really not dependent on website advertising to pay for your hosting, time and effort - you may provide an ad free option to website visitors.

Tim Yang explains how to set up two options to choose from on his site - with and without ads.

He switches CSS stylesheets with javascript. Visitors simply choose to switch to a different stylesheet that hides the ads. How to switch? he used the alternative style switcher script.

Sounds interesting but it works only on the current page you are using.

He also gives another trick where you can insert the ad code in a block level item with a standard class and Greasemonkey scripts can pick out the ad-code and make them invisible.
