Fix Short Posts in Blogger Feeds

If you have opted for publishing short atom feeds in Blogger, you often get full posts posted in the atom feed.

Probably you never look at your feeds after every post. And why should you?
I looked at my atom feed after every post as I was getting full posts and badly formatted posts with all inline formatting tags displayed. Bloglines, my favourite newsreader displayed the same full and poor formatted posts grabbed from feedburner feeds.

Blogger says it is a known issue
“If you have “short descriptions” selected for your blog’s site feed, Blogger may occasionally be publishing it with full descriptions. This can sometimes be fixed by using the “republishing index only” button to recreate your site feed.

So now I republish the index multiple times after any post till it gets fixed. It usually does not get fixed by republishing once. If the atom feed is not proper, feedburner also gets the same data and so does bloglines.
So this seems to be a common problem. You may like to check your Blogger feed and fix it too!
