General Electric - $50bn (US)

The BBC reports further says
“Qualifying for the list is tough, with US supermarket giant Wal-Mart, payment card group Visa and confectionery firm Mars all missing out on a place. That was because they failed to qualify in at least one of the following criteria:
* The brand value must be worth at least $2.1 billion.
* It must derive at least a third of its income outside of its domestic market.
* Its marketing and financial data must be publicly available.”
Pepsi and Coke have been rivals in the beverage and soda market, and Coke seems to be the winner at least in this survey. I personally prefer Coke, and seem others like it too!

This is so true! My therapist was a missionary-psychologist in Ethiopia for many years, and she said when they first arrived an Ethiopian man took them through this really wild, untamed area, to these huts, and then sat them down inside, turned on the radio to the BBC and offered them a Coca-Cola.
And yes, Coke is better.
