Feedster Top 500 : Interesting & Important Blogs

I am recently seeing a small logo appearing on many popular blogs – it links to the Feedster Top 500 Blogs (now moved here).

Each month, Feedster brings you a list of 500 of the most interesting and important blogs. This list has several big blogs and the top 3 on the list is Engadget, Deviant Art and Boing Boing.

It is an interesting variety of blogs listed by the number of links to these blogs. Technorati also compiles such a list of Technorati top 100 blogs based on such incomming links. This has on top 3 list – Boing Boing, Daily Kos and Fark.

Calcanis has questioned such links as a benchmark for grading popular blogs and launced the Blog 500 Challenge – which can make you some good money if you can create what they suggest. You can also look at the most popular Bloglines subscribed feeds and find more popular blogs.

Check to see if you are in the Feedster Top 500 Blogs – you can then add the top 500 logo to your blog.
