Opera Free Registration Codes for 1 Day : 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations

Opera was often promoted as the fastest web browser on earth. As per an Opera press release - it is celebrating ten years of browser innovation, it has decided to give free registration codes for 1 day.

Go and visit the Opera 10-year online anniversary party. As a sign of gratitude for the community’s continuing support, Opera will give away complimentary registration codes for 24 hours. On the party page - see the box offering free Opera registration code by clicking the “go free” button - as long as the party lasts!

If you go to the Download.com page, it says

“For one day only, you can get an ad-free version of Opera. Simply e-mail registerme@opera.com to obtain a registration code. This offer is valid from 12 a.m. Tuesday, August 30 to 12 a.m. Wednesday, August 31 2005 (PDT).”

I sent an email, but am yet to recieve a reply. But the party page gives you a code instantly after you give your email address. It works and gives one registration code for all operating systems.

Opera is a wonderful browser and I used it for a long time, before firefox came in and I switched. Did you know that PC World named Opera as Best Web Browser in 2004.
