The Apple Might Mouse : Touch Sensitive Technology for Windows too!
August 4th, 2005 | Filed under Apple, Gadgets.Apple’s Mighty Mouse combines the capability of a multibutton mouse with Apple’s signature top-shell design for the best of both form and function. You can use it for its single button simplicity or click with multibutton efficiency.
It offers 360-degree scrolling capability with the Scroll Ball, perfectly positioned to roll smoothly under just one finger. Touch-sensitive technology under Mighty Mouse’s top shell detect where you’re clicking, transforming your one-button mouse into a two-button wonder. Force-sensing buttons on either side of Mighty Mouse let you squeeze the mouse between your thumb and finger, activating Mac OS X Tiger Dashboard, Exposé or a whole host of other, customizable features.
It is promoted as the ideal desktop companion for Mac OS X Tiger. It also works with any version of Mac OS X, but requires Tiger to customize your settings.
Interested but using Windows?
Mighty Mouse is also compatible with PCs. Mighty Mouse uses the standard, multibutton mouse driver included in the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems and plugs into any USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port.
