"Go to Template -> Edit HTML: you will find an option called “Change the Blogger NavBar. Change that to “Off” and you will never see the navbar again on your site."

Thanks!

Just for anyone else who hits on this page, Google provides an option for editing the Blogger NavBar that includes an "Off" setting. This only works if you are using an off-Blogger publishing method.

Me too. I'm with both Colleen and David. If the Blogger NavBar is somekind of an Advertising to increase Blogger revenues, or anything similar to that one, then I don't have to ask if I can, or not, remove the Navbar.

I think it's enough if to keep the "I Power Blogger" button (visible) on your Blogger blog page :) They'll surely be happy to know that their button got appreciated!

[...] Click the “Flag” if the navbar is still existent on top of the blogspot blog. But you will find that most splogs hide the blogger navbar. As per Blogger terms of service, only FTP Publishers can hide the navbar. When the navbar is hidden, Consuming Experience has created a greasemonkey script which will restore the flag icon back into the blogger blog and then you can flag it. [...]

[...] Many bloggers have asked me how to remove this Blogger navbar. Remember, Blogger Navbar can be disabled for users publishing via FTP as per Blogger Terms of service. For free Blogger users, not publishing via FTP, you cannot disable the Navbar. So it is best to confirm with Blogger support that you can indeed hide the Navbar before proceeding to do so. You do not want your blog banned by them for such a small issue. I take no responsibility for the same. [...]

I agree with Colleen. I always left the navbar on since I figured it was impossible to remove...until I did a little searching online. The only reason I want it removed is because it disrupts the design of my blog and sometimes actualy messes it up (if you view it in a small enough window). I would leave it alone otherwise, but since it is possible to remove it and there is nothing saying that I "shall not", I don't see what the big deal is. It's not as if it is advertising. I left my "I power Blogger" button on my site. Isn't that good enough?
