Colorize Black and White Photos Free

I always thought it would be nice if I could find a professional graphics software that could colorize some old black and white family photographs easily… and free!

Luckily I found Recolored – a free software application that helps you with the difficult and time consuming task of colorizing black and white photos. Based on computer assisted image colorization, Recolored makes it possible for anyone to achieve professional looking coloring results on any photo.

And it is simple to use too, without need for photoshop skills or much graphic software manipulation knowledge. Just add markings to the different regions of the image, indicating how it should be colorized, Click the Colorize button and let the software colour your black and white photo.

Though Recolored is in beta stage of development, it is available for free download and is free of charge for non-commercial use. Now I can scan all those old black and white photos and color the images to surprise my folks.
