Google Analytics is a new free website traffic analysis tool that tells you everything you want to know about how your visitors found you and how they interact with your site. A Google Analytics Status Update says

“As you may know, we experienced extraordinarily strong demand shortly after we launched last November. To ensure a high quality user experience for existing customers, we had to temporarily disable new signups. We have been working diligently to add more capacity that we can both enhance performance for existing users and re-open signups to a limited number of new users.”

Google Analytics on its launch had experienced strong demand, and they had temporarily limited the number of new signups to increase capacity. You can submit your name and email address to get notified when they add new accounts. I had signed up and am awaiting an invite, are you?
