Download Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview
February 1st, 2006Developers and IT pros can now download and evaluate the Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview to explore the improvements in security, user interface, and development platform.
They have provided the resources and checklists that apply to you and verify that your websites/applications work with the new Internet Explorer features. Take the tour and read the release notes.
The fine print reads “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview support will not be available from Microsoft. Limited peer-to-peer support is available via this newsgroup.” and “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview will only run on Windows® XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) systems, but will ultimately be available for Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Server 2003.”
It seems the feature rich Internet Explorer 7 will be here soon to counter their falling market share to wonderful web browsers like Firefox and Opera.
