Fiat Sedici Google Earth Contest
February 16th, 2006 | Filed under Google. Here is an oppurtunity to have a Ferrari F1 Experience and win Fiat Sedici cars - all using your favourite mapping tool Google Earth. Enter the Fiat Sedici Contest!
The Official Google blog reports
“If you’re from Italy, France, Great Britian, Switzerland, Austria, Greece or Spain and are interested in employing your geek skills to win a Fiat Sedici, throw yourself headlong into the Fiat/Google Earth Contest, which involves using Google Earth to sniff out a Torino location big enough to hide a car but (presumably) small enough to not be totally obvious within a few minutes. Those who aren’t fortunate enough to reside in one of those countries can still enter to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Italy for a Ferrari 360 Experience (I don’t know exactly what that is, but it certainly sounds cool).”
The Fiat Sedici Google Earth Contest prizes winners can get a Ferrari 360 degree F1 Experience in midst of the Ferrari team and also win 4 Fiat Sedici cars. Just in case you are wondering what is Torino? This is the Italian city of Turin (Torino) which is hosting the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Google Earth is a mapping software that puts a planet’s worth of imagery and other geographic information right on your desktop. You point and zoom to anyplace on the planet and Satellite images and local facts zoom into view. Google Earth Plus adds an optional upgrade adding GPS device support etc.
