Karima Adebibe : Lara Croft New International Face

The search for a new face for Lara Croft is over and Karima Adebibe is the new international face.

Lara Croft, Duchess of Saint Bridget is a video game character, and the Amazonian heroine of the Tomb Raider series of video games, movies and comic books. The seventh game in the series Tomb Raider: Legend has been announced for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC.

Angelina Jolie was the lead actress for the Lady Lara Croft role, an archaeologist, action hero and 11th generation Countess in two major motion pictures - “Tomb Raider” and “Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.”

Karima Adebibe, aged 20, The Top Shop assistant from Bethnal Green, East London, was chosen following a worldwide search for an ambassador to represent Lara for the launch of the next video game to be released on several different gaming platforms.
