[...] The SLCC Design Showcase will highlight the evolution of design in Second Life from 2002 through 2006. It will showcase some of the best and most unique work from Second Life. The showcase is open to all Second Life community members and each submission should be an original work, suitable to display in a PG simulator, and accompanied by an entry form. Friday will feature Second Life live musicians and DJs playing from 6pm until 11pm, and feature an open bar. Saturday will feature a series of speakers and panels of general interest to the Second Life community, culminating with a tag-team session featuring Philip and Cory Linden, with resident-led parties in the evening. Sunday will feature smaller, special interest group sessions, including education, business and design, as well as field trips to the San Francisco MoMA and the Aquarium. [...]
