Adsense Referrals Earnings Now Till 180 days

You have probably subscribed to the Google Adsense Referral program which lets you make extra money by referring people to sign up for Adsense.

They had earlier reduced the time period for payout to 90 days - that is if your referred webmaster made $100 till 3 months, you also earned $100. But there was extensive forum discussion that this period was too short. The newbie webmaster will try to optimize Google Adsense for his blog, and the period of 3 months might pass before he earns $100, so many referral counters were removed from notable websites - now they might come back.

Though there were rumours that this period was going to be extended to a more reasonable 180 days, the Inside Adsense blog now confirms this fact

“You may have noticed today that the time limit for AdSense referrals is now 180 days. Based on the feedback we heard, we agreed that 90 days may not provide enough time for your referred publishers to complete earning $100. Therefore, we decided to double the window. This change is retroactive, so it will also apply to AdSense signups that occurred more than 90 days but less than 180 days ago.”
