March 13th, 2006The 13th annual SXSW Interactive Festival will take place March 10 – 14, 2006 in Austin, TX, USA.
The SXSW Interactive Festival brings together world’s most creative web developers, designers, bloggers, wireless innovators, new media entrepreneurs, uber-geeks, tech entrepreneurs, and digital innovators from around the world for a few days of keynote speeches, Trade Show, panels, parties and assorted evening fun. Now in its thirteenth year, this is the event where the web’s most creative minds share their ideas about how interactive technology will shape our future.
What is new for 2006? A new one-day gaming event called ScreenBurn Beta Festival on March 11 will enable consumers to preview the future of the video game industry as they can play with soon-to-be-released titles, hear the experts, and meet developers. ScreenBurn will be free and open to the public. Four days of programming are scheduled to focus on new content and business opportunities in the growing field of digital convergence.
SXSW Interactive coupled with concurrent presence of SXSW Film and SXSW Music helps make it a completely unique event.
