Announcing the launch, the official Google blog says

“Google Finance’s most important innovations take place after you’ve found the company in question. You’ll find interactive charts that enable you to zoom through different time periods, headlines mapped right on the charts and are based on Google News, which means you’re seeing unbiased and relevant results from more than 4,500 English-language news sources.”

Google Finance offers an easier way to search for stocks, mutual funds, public and private companies. Further, Google Finance also offers a broad range of company news and information in order to deliver more relevant, unbiased results in a clean, uncluttered user interface. Get a google account, update your stocks and shares portfolio to make money at the stock market.
