Reverse Blog and Post Order of Title Tags in Wordpress

The default way title tags display in Wordpress is Blog Title >> Post Title. But many of you would have noticed that some bloggers tweak this in such a way, such that the title tags look like Post Title >> Blog Title.

This is possible easily by a cool Wordpress plugin called Optimal Title

Optimal Title is a WordPress plugin that mirrors the function of wp_title() exactly, but moves the position of the ’separator’ to after the title rather than before. This allows you to have your blog name tacked on to the end of the page title instead of having it appear first.

Search engines show a truncated part of your title tag in search results. If your blog title is first, a long post title will get cut. This is good if you prefer to highlight your blog name. But if you rather highlight the post keywords first, and let your blog name get truncated, then this will work for you and cause your post title to appear first in search engine results.
