View the Webby Nominees and then Vote for the Webby People’s Voice Awards, your chance to participate in selecting the Best of the Web. The Webby Awards is presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 535-member judging organization consisting of leading experts in a diverse range of fields.
The Webby People’s Voice Awards allows you to vote for your favorite Web sites in all 65 Webby categories. Through May 5th, online fans can cast ballots for their picks for their top choices.
The 10th Annual Webby Winners and Webby People’s Voice Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 9th, 2006 and honored at The 10th Annual Webby Awards on June 12 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Read more at the press release.

The webby’s are great. I’ll be watching for the “driving ethanol” and “feed me better”, both of which are very public service oriented as well as being top notch sites on the web. Promoting sites like these can help make the web a better place and if we are lucky, even the world.
