Akismet Spam Protection for Movable Type

In fact it comes a default installed (though deactivated) plugin with when you download Wordpress. Now Akismet is available for Movable Type blogging platform users.
Akismet announced the launch of their complete spam protection for Movable Type users. When a new comment, trackback, or pingback comes to your blog it is submitted to the Akismet free web service which runs hundreds of tests on the comment and returns a thumbs up or thumbs down. Movable Type is a premier weblog publishing platform for with powerful customization and an elegant interface, but is not free. You can now download the Akismet for MT.
In Wordpress, after you activate Akismet from the plugins menu inside of WordPress, you need to enter your API key, and then it controls spam in comment, trackback, or pingbacks.
