ADVERTISEMENTS

While looking through my incomming links, I spotted a large section of site traffic was comming through Alesti.org and I looked further…

Alesti is a simple, user-friendly, free “Web 2.0″ feed reader. It is similar to most other rss aggregators and news readers with a diffference. It does not need to be installed on your PC and requires no special operating system and uses standard compliant web techniques like Ajax and can be used with any modern web browser.

It uses 3 panes. You add your favourite feeds to the left panel, either manually or via importing and OPML file from your current news reader. When you click the blogs name, the post titles are shown in the top right frame. If you like a particular post, just click on the title and it opens the post below.

See your style : It is useful if you scan a huge number of post and read a few post only and do not wish to waste precious time and bandwidth loading all full posts and feed advertisements. But another section of readers who like to read a lot of posts may find these multiple clicks a waste of time as more clicks involved. Anyway this is another Bloglines alternative fre web reader for you to try.
