How to Add Google Maps on Your Web Site

You enjoyed finding map locations on Google maps. Now you can put Google Maps on your website too.

First you need to get a Google Maps API that lets you embed Google Maps in your own web pages. A single Maps API key is valid for a single “directory” on your web server. You must have a Google Account to get a Maps API key, and your API key will be connected to your Google Account. There is no limit on the number of page views you may generate per day using the Maps API till 500,000 page views per day and the Maps API does not include advertising. Your service must be freely accessible to end users.

Next have a look at the online documentation which is designed for people familiar with JavaScript programming and object-oriented programming concepts. For trouble shooting issues, check out our Google Maps API discussion group. Now if you find that coding difficult, then Exploration Age has compiled a nice tutorial which will help you get started.
