New Text Links for Google Adsense Referrals
April 21st, 2006 | Filed under Adsense, Google, Make Money Online. If you participated in the Google Adsense referral program to make extra money, but found the referral buttons mismatched with your site design, you will welcome the new text links for referral.
Based on publishers requests for the ability to refer via text links, they announced that they now offer text links as a format option for AdWords, AdSense and Firefox referrals. If you go to your Adsense referral code screen, you will find 4 text referral links for all these referral programs.
But remember the golden rule from the Google Adsense policy - “Any AdSense ad code, search box code, or referral code must be pasted directly into Web pages without modification. AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the ad code or change the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason.”
So even if you do not like the content of these text links, you cannot alter them in any way. The adsense code needs to be pasted as provided. Referral Buttons has become so common, that I guess people had stopped clicking on them. Text link ads are popular now as they blend easily with websites and do not look like ads. Now I suppose we will see many more referral links on websites. Have you put a referral link on your website to earn extra money fast?
