World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards 2006
April 16th, 2006The World’s 50 Best Restaurants were announced at the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards on April 10, held at the Science Museum, London SW7.
This year, the list was compiled in a new way: the world was divided into 20 voting regions, each of which was headed by an appointed Chairperson who selected a voting panel for their respective region. Collectively, the 20 regional Chairs form The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy.
See the full list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2006. El Bulli from Spain was voted the Best Restaurants in the World. Pierre Gagnaire from France, ranked third won the Chefs’ Choice Award.
