Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac Computers
May 29th, 2006 | Filed under Apple, Gadgets, Microsoft, Tips.Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 is an application to access PC-only software, files, networks and devices from your Macintosh computer.
Virtual PC is a program that creates a separate Windows environment on the Mac desktop. Virtual PC is for Macintosh users who sometimes need access to Windows-only programs such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Publisher, or Microsoft Access. It also provides access to peripheral devices you might not be able to use otherwise, such as printers or scanners that don’t run on the Mac.
Virtual PC 7 supports these operating systems: Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home Edition, and Windows 2000 Professional. Virtual PC 7 is compatible with the Mac G5 and offers important improvements in support, speed and reliability. Virtual PC does not run on Intel-based Macs. Download the free Virtual PC 7.0.2 Update that is compatible with Mac Tiger. If you own a Mac, see if the Virtual PC can give you PC access.

I cannot get a Plustek scanner to work with either virtual PC on a Powerbook G4 or running parallels on a macpro. On the G4 it simply fails to start up the scanner eventhough it is recognised.
in parallels it simply crashes as soon as the scan button is pressed.
Any suggestions? it feels as though the mac will some how not let the PC communicate with the scanner
