Request Banned Site Reinclusion with Google Sitemaps
May 18th, 2006The Google search engine is a great source of site traffic for any website. And inclusion in the Google index is essential for that. However, when webmasters violate the Google’s quality guidelines, they can get their site banned from Google.
Previously it was difficult to appeal to Google to get you site reindexed if your recognized and fixed the problem. Earlier Google Sitemaps has provided notification of violations of the webmaster guidelines to tell you if a site has violated the webmaster guidelines so you can correct the problems.
Now they have included a Reinclusion request form accessible from your Sitemaps panel. If you reviewed your site, found that it violated the webmaster guidelines, and made changes to your site so that it adheres to the guidelines, you can inform them what actions might have led to any penalties, and what corrective actions have been taken and if you used a search engine optimization (SEO) company to promote your site traffic. They will evaluate your site to determine if it is currently penalized and if the site no longer violates the guidelines accept it for reinclusion into the Google Index.
You need to add that site to your Google Sitemaps account and verify site ownership (now even possible for Blogger blogs). Always avoid the common reasons you site can get banned from Google.
