Send a Smile : Give Feedback on Office 2007 Beta 2

May 30th, 2006
ADVERTISEMENTS

Did you know you can evaluate the next release of Microsoft Office products for testing and planning purposes with Microsoft Office 2007 Beta 2. The beta release contains all the functionality of the regular release, but is not the final product.

And what is the best way to send feedback about Office 2007? Send a Smile (SaS) is a feedback tool that enables 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta participants to easily send Microsoft positive and negative comments about the Beta on an ad hoc basis

Install the Send a Smile tool and two icons are added to the notifications area of the taskbar over by the clock: a happy face to click when you want to give us positive feedback and a sad face to click when there’s something you don’t like. And your feedback goes directly to the product team—directly to the people responsible for making decisions about the product in every area.

I regret the day I bought Office 2007. First you have taken a great and simple product Wood 2003 and turned it into a nightmare. Nothing is simple. I spent 20 minutes reading all of your information just so that I could save a word file as a PFD. It was right there and handy in 2003 & 2002.

I must send my word files in 97-2003 because I have gotten so many complaints from associates that they can not open the 2007 version.

I guess you more than likely think that you have done a great thing with Office/Word2007 but believe me you hae not. You Have many many frustrated people here.

If I could go back to 2003 and install something that would let me open 2007 files I would uninstall in a minute. If that can be done please send me a for dummies version of how to do it. And a damn refund on the money I wasted.

Lastly, the word Dummy, you have millions of us who simply want to use a simple program and you totally blew it with 2007. You changed all the things we were comfortable with.

    Sincerely,
    Paul Samuels
