The Style Contest for Typepad, Movable Type, and Live Journal

Six Apart is hosting The Style Contest for Typepad, Movable Type, and Live Journal blogs. If you are a professional web designer, here is a chance to show your designing skills to the world by participating in this design contest.

“The Style Contest was created to enable the design community to indulge and explore the contribution their expertise makes to the quality of blogging tools and the user experience.”

Participants are welcome to enter up to 3 designs per category, and 10 designs overall which must be tested against the most popular browsers and platforms (Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer). There are seven categories that qualify for prizes. The Grand Prize package is valued at over $6000, and the other six finalists will each receive a Category Winner prize package valued at over $1300. Judging will take place by a panel of leading professional web designers.

All submitted designs must be submitted in a zip file that meets the requirements by the new extended deadline of June 5, 2006, 10:00 pm PST. The winners should be announced June 23rd.
