TIME 100: The People Who Shape Our World

Time Magazine has released the Time 100 - a list of “The People Who Shape Our World”.

The Time 100 broadly categorizes them into Artists & Entertainers, Scientists & Thinkers, Leaders & Revolutionaries, Heroes & Pioneers and Builders & Titans. There are several famous celebrities in that list and probably you have heard about most of them. Click on the celebrity name to go to their profile and why they were selected.

In a related Time’s article they describe more about the issue and say that TIME 100 is a hefty issue packed with the people who define our times.

“It is also our largest issue since we named Albert Einstein our Person of the Century six years ago, an appropriate milestone since this week’s double issue has its roots in our series naming the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. The Time 100 is now a much anticipated annual issue, in its third year, and since we view anyone who makes the list as being a permanent member of the Time 100, we have very few repeats each year.”
