BlogDay Ambassadors Wanted : Represent Your Country

What happens on BlogDay?
On August 31st, bloggers from all over the world will post on thier blogs a recommendation of 5 new Blogs and notify them. Blog surfers will find themselves discovering new, unknown Blogs, and celebrate the discovery of new people and new bloggers.
They are seeking BlogDay ambassadors to represent their conuntries.
“We are looking for more BlogDay 2006 ambassadors from around the world. We need them to be BlogDay local representatives that will try, as much as they can, to spread the word about BlogDay in their community, gather information about the BlogDay buzz and to write about it in their blogs. We expect from the Ambassadors to try to arrange a BlogDay event in their area and to be the “face” of BlogDay in the media in their countries (TV and newspapers).”

Sounds like a neat program. It sounds like they are more looking for city or local ambassadors than country ambassadors though.
