Google Video Mac Player Launched

Now Apple Macintosh users user can view Google Videos on their deskop using the newly launched Google Video Mac Player.

Google Video is the world’s first open online video marketplace, where you can search for, watch and even buy an ever-growing collection of TV shows, movies, music videos, documentaries, personal productions and more.

Google Video player features:
* Watch videos downloaded from Google Video
* Browse scenes within a video using thumbnails
* Skip to anywhere in the video, even if that portion hasn’t downloaded yet
* Sit back and watch videos in full screen mode
* Resume video downloads automatically

Requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. The Google Video blog announces that the Google Video Mac Player is compatible with most Macintosh models and software. And since the Google Video Mac Player is a Universal binary, it runs natively on both Intel and PowerPC Macs.

    I really cannot understand why anyone whould like to use the Google Video Player!?

    I mean: you can see all videos in players like VLC without the Google logo splashed around everywhere!
