GoodSearch : Yahoo Powered Search which Supports Charities
July 22nd, 2006 | Filed under Tools, Yahoo!.Goodsearch lets you support your favorite charity or school whenever you search the Internet. Goodsearch is powered by Yahoo Search and generates revenue in support of the charity of your choice.
Fifty percent of the revenue generated from Goodsearch advertisers is shared with the charity, school or nonprofit organization of your choosing. They estimate that each search will generate approximately $0.01 for the designated charity or school. Click on the “amount raised” button to see the amount of donations recieved. The more people search on behalf of any particular organization, the more donations to the charity they get!
You can add a New Charity link on their homepage. After verifying its a nonprofit organization, it will be added to the database. You can add Goodsearch to IE and Firefox. If you usually search by Yahoo Search, then you can give Goodsearch a try and support the charity of your choice.

If you like GoodSearch, try http://mygive.org on for size. MyGive also lets you support your favorite school or charity, but through online shopping.
