Google Adsense Code for Framed Pages
July 26th, 2006 | Filed under Adsense, Google, Tips.If you are a Google Adsense publisher, you might be surprised to see that the while generating adsense code for framed pages, the “framed pages” checkbox has disappeared.
Earlier you needed to check the framed pages box while generating adsense code to insert in pages in frames such that Google adsense could understand that the page was part of frames and target your content better.
Inside Adsense says that they have removed the “framed pages” checkbox
“You’ll no longer need special ad code, and we’ll target ads based on the text content in the frame where the ad code is pasted. To receive relevant ads, please be sure to paste your ad code into the same frame as the primary content of your page.”
You can update your current adsense codes if you need to. Just make sure that the code is pasted into the frame that contains your page’s main content which they will use to target the ads.
