New Skype for Mac OS X 1.5 Users

Skype has released a new version of its popular communications software called Skype for Mac OS X 1.5. The new beta version has a sleek redesigned interface and is now available in nine languages. Several new features include: improved contact list, calls in windows and chat drawer, simpler contacts search function and an Easy Dialler for straightforward calling to landlines and mobile phones at very low prices.

Skype has announced the availability of the first Skype for Mac starter packs that that have everything needed to get started with Skype for Mac, a USB stereo headset with microphone complete with its own specially-designed carrying case and a voucher for free SkypeOut minutes to call landline or mobile numbers worldwide.

Skype lets you make free phone calls to anyone else on Skype anywhere in the world. This new Mac version of Skype claims to be faster and easier to use, and with exclusive Mac-only features.

    Hi,

    Maybe you should change the title of this post.
    It seems a bit ambiguous.
    The title implies that a new version of Skype had been released for Mac OS X 1.5. For a while there I thought Skype had released a version for he yet Mac OS 10.5.

    Just a thought. :)
