If you own an Internet domain name, Windows Live Custom Domains provides free hosted e-mail for your domain. Create an unlimited number of accounts in your domain.
Everyone at your domain will get an MSN Hotmail account which can upgrade for free to the new Windows Live Mail beta, which offers 2GB of storage and enhanced security features. E-mail addresses at your domain can also be used for instant messaging and other services on the MSN and Windows Live network. Since the mail is hosted by Microsoft, there is no need to buy or manage e-mail servers. Eligible Hotmail users will first receive email storage of 25 MB at sign-up and will later (30 days) be upgraded to 250 MB.
If you have an MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, or Passport account – It’s your Windows Live ID and that is what you need to get started. Remember, that to get started with Windows Live Custom Domains, you must own an Internet domain name that you’ve registered with a domain registrar. You will need to change the MX records for use with Windows Live Custom Domains, and update the DNS for your domain name at your domain registrar.
