Need a Free Google Spreadsheet / Writely Invitation?

August 2nd, 2006 | Filed under Deals, Google.
ADVERTISEMENTS

Google recently acquired Writely that lets you share documents instantly and collaborate real-time, select who can access your documents, edit your documents from anywhere and store your documents securely online. Google Spreadsheets lets you create, store and share spreadsheets on the web (still using Microsoft Excel?).

But both these services need invites to try them out. It seems that though these services are not accepting new members, existing members can invite others owing to the collaborative nature of these online tools. Interested in testing the future in online Word document collaboration?

This site is offering free Gsheet (Google Spreadsheet) and Writely invitations. A small warning: I do not see any statement that they will keep your email secure and private, usable for only this purpose. Use at your own risk.

The best way to get an invite is to ask a friend who is using these services to invite you.
