Nicely done post! I currently use blogger and always find myself in fear of losing everything I’ve written. I know you can back up your template, but is there a simple way to backup all of your posts?

Once I get more web-saavy, I may find myself switching to WordPress!

I’m still in having a headache with the many manual stuff we gotta do with Wordpress, but I guess it does offer more freedom than blogger. However, it is incredibly challenging for a non-techie like me haha

This blog is hosted on the full downloadable Wordpress.org and not wordpress.com and so you can use any ads you like.

hi,

I do agee wordpress is the best in terms of features it offer. I have one word press blog. One notable thing is that they offer catagorising the blogroll which is great. The other one is the Page concept.

One quick question wordpress don’t allow adsense code how u are managing that?

Congratulations! I’ve moved from Blogger to my own domain recently and I use wordpress now, too. I agree with everything you’ve said about the experience. It’s definitely worth it.
