Free SkypeOut Calls to Phones in France
September 7th, 2006Skype announced today that all French-based Skype users with a broadband internet connection can make unlimited SkypeOut calls to landlines in France for free. This offer is valid in France from September 7 to December 31 2006.
Earlier Skype had offered similar free SkypeOut Calls to phones in US and Canada. This will let the French-based people make free, unlimited calls to landline phones across the entire French population and help in promotion of Skype services in France.
Skype is a popular service allowing unlimited free voice and video communication between Skype users. SkypeOut calls is their paid service for calling landlines and mobile phones. But on SkypeOut Gift Days you’ll be able to redeem 10 minutes of free credit for SkypeOut calls.

I wonder when this service will reach the UK. I would have expected to get here before it got to France.
