Creative Commons Fundraising Campaign 2006

The Creative Commons fundraising campaign is back in 2006. Creative Commons is well known for its licenses that provide a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators, most important of which is a voluntary “some rights reserved” approach.

“Creative Commons needs your support to help enable a participatory culture – a culture in which everyone can actively engage in the creativity that surrounds us. We need your support to assure access to cultural, scientific, and educational content that has been pre-cleared for use by its authors.”

Support Creative Commons by buying a t-shirt, sticker, or 1″ buttons. Or donate money and become a Commoner through a choice of contributor levels. If you supported CC in 2005, read what your support achieved. The goal is to collect $300,000 by December 31st, 2006.
