Intel Core Processor Challenge : Design a Stylish Intel Viiv PC
October 1st, 2006 | Filed under Computers, Events.Intel Core Processor Challenge encourages you to build the most innovative system designs featuring Intel Core2 Duo processors in an Intel Viiv technology-based PC. And Intel will award up to $1 million in prizes to the PC manufacturers and designers (OEMs or ODMs) who can do it.
You can submit up to five different and original designs featuring Intel Core2 Duo processors in an Intel Viiv technology-based PC. Applications must be submitted till January 15, 2007 and systems must be received by Intel for evaluation till March 2, 2007. These systems cannot be released in the market prior to March 1, 2007. The winner will be announced at the Spring Intel Developer Forum to be held March 2007 in San Francisco.
“Intel will award the Grand prize winner with up to US $300,000 for hard tooling costs of their winning design and US $400,000 for co-marketing activities with Intel promoting the design. The first place winner will receive up to $300,000 for hard tooling of their winning design.”
A diverse panel of judges will evaluate designs based on style, acoustics, functionality and features. Apply for the Intel Core Processor Challenge.
