Blending colors is more applicable in boosting CTR than font changing. Tweaking different ad units and controlling keywords which google served increase the percentage of your CTR.

Its all about how ou integrate adsense on your website. look at the bigger sites how the do it. Like a dutch website tweedehands.net is perfect how the use adsense in their website.

We will start doing some tests on this, it is always the fear I have as the website will look less nice with AdSense. It is a balance between looks and CTR.

It worked for me, changing the font. You should wait for 10 munites or so, changes do not appear directly.
