My Dream App Contest Winners Announced

My Dream App was an experiment which combines the expertise the best talents in the software and tech world with great ideas and feedback from everyone else. First two weeks they collected ideas for great applications from contestants, then the My Dream App team shortlisted 24 great (and developmentally feasible) entries. And then the voting began…

The My Dream App winners are:
First Place: Cameron Westland, Atmosphere
Second Place: Farzad Sadjadi, Portal
Third Place: Michael Yuan, Cookbook

There are cool prizes for the several runner-ups and winners like iPods and Macintosh computers. The three final winners get a contract to have their ideas developed into shareware applications, with royalties for life!
