Submit Your Site to Yahoo! Directory : Added in 7 Days for $299
October 26th, 2006I have been trying to submit my site to be added to the popular Yahoo directory for quite some time now, but without any success yet. I tried the standard way to submit my site for review and inclusion in the Yahoo! Directory. It is free, works for non commercial sites, takes a long time and makes no promise that they will add your site eventually.
But you can pay Yahoo to add your site in 7 days!
If you can afford it, try the Yahoo! Directory Submit. The Yahoo! editorial team will review your site and respond to you within 7 business days, for a review fee of only $299 ($600 for adult sites). If your listing is accepted into the Yahoo Directory, there is a $299 recurring annual fee ($600 for adult sites) to maintain the listing. (FYI Yahoo! Express has become Yahoo! Directory Submit)
Yahoo! Directory Submit program does not guarantee inclusion in the Yahoo! Directory and the review fee is non refundable. If your site is good enough and does not violate any terms, pay $299 and get your site listed in the Yahoo directory within 7 days.
I don’t mind paying a one time fee of $299, but a recurring $299 fee is expensive. But ask any SEO expert and they will tell you that getting listed in Yahoo Directory is worth the money to boost your search engine rankings. Are you listed?

I think it really depends on the kind of business you run. I am not listed and I will not pay a recurring $299. I used the free submission like three times but I never had success. Google scores me well, yahoo really bad.
Ok I am going to submit my site Thanks
