Google SketchUp Build Your Campus in 3D Competition

Google SketchUp is running the Build Your Campus in 3D Competition. Simply model your school’s campus buildings in Google SketchUp, geo-reference them in Google Earth and submit them through the competition web site to earn an all expenses paid visit to Google.

Google SketchUp is a powerful 3D software tool that enables you to build and modify 3D models quickly and easily. Integrated with Google Earth, Google SketchUp allows you to place your models using real-world coordinates and share them with the world using the Google 3D Warehouse.

To participate you need to be a higher education student in the United States or Canada. All entries will become public domain on the 3D Warehouse and visible in Google Earth. Submit your completed models by June 1, 2007. Winners get a 3 day trip all expense paid trip to Google’s Mountain View headquarters to participate in a workshop with 3D modeling experts from Google.
