Maker Faire Bay Area 2007 : Call For Makers
The Maker Faire 2007 is coming to Bay Area on May 19 & 20, 2007 at San Mateo Fairgrounds. They have announced a call for makers. Organized by the staff of Make and Craft magazines, Maker Faire brings together science, art, craft and engineering in a fun, energized, and exciting public forum.
You can propose a maker exhibit, performance or workshop. Then submit a proposal through their site or show your work at a Maker Faire “audition” on Saturday, February 24 at TechShop in Menlo Park, CA.
Another Maker Faire Austin is planned for October 20 & 21, 2007 at the Travis County Fairgrounds. Read more about the last year’s Maker Faire 2006 where 20,000 Makers and Crafters of all ages converged for a weekend of projects and fun in San Mateo, California.
Build, craft, hack, play, MAKE.
