Most Anticipated Applications : Museum of Modern Betas
February 18th, 2007 | Filed under Tools.Everyday new web applications are launched, some in alpha, some in beta, and we fill in our email address waiting for an invite. Which application are you waiting for with most anticipation?
The Museum of Modern Betas, often called MoMB, is a site dedicated to listing web based applications on a beta trip. They have compiled a list of the 50 most anticipated applications in the webosphere, as measured by the number of bookmarks at del.icio.us for apps which are not publicly released yet. The list will be updated each Saturday.
The top 3 most anticipated applications in that list are
Scrybe - a groundbreaking online organizer that caters to today’s lifestyle in a cohesive and intuitive way.
Plum - a free service that lets you save anything you care about like web pages, videos, photos, documents, emails, feeds and organize it into collections.
Polar Rose - adds context to any person, on any photo, on any site.
It is also interesting to find a collection of those applications which have gone out of beta.
