Hey, really useful tips. I knew there were shortcuts but I didn’t know them all. The j and k keys really help me move through the posts quickly. Thanks for posting this.

I love Google Reader Preview (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9455)
it opens the post’s page in the post bubble thing without reloading the page or leaving google reader. Invaluable.
Also GReader Popup https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/11072 is useful if you don’t want to fire up GR in a new tab each time.

That said, I use exactly the same procedure- I don’t read anything unless it’s <10 seconds long in GR All Items, I star everything then work through it. So much faster.

This the classical River of news approach. Press GA. I do not need to click each feed and check out their articles. Instead I see all of them one after the other as fast as I can.

I have one query thought. Is there a way to see complete articles within google reader itself for feeds where only a part of the article is shown?
