I heard about this from a friend's blog. He works for MS and he's all excited about it. But here's the issue for me. They never say how much they'll donate. They just say that they will. So, I have no incentive. They could donate 1 cent or 100,000 dollars, I just don't know. Now, I'm sure the IM thing is fine, but when they did this for the search engine it was pathetic. The search is just horrible. The results I got for any borderline obscure search were from two to four years ago! Google is just better at search.
