how is it possible to provide unlimited storage space for mail..
it is just a marketing strategy…unlimited only means not limited..it does not mean infinite as one of my frnds wrote before..

UNLIMITED != INFINITE

Lets talk about the reality. Here the phrase “UNLIMITED” stands for “NO EXPLICITLY STATED LIMIT” like Yahoo saying 1GB but not for “INFINITE SPACE” ! As we all know the later case is simply impossible :)

But GMAIL gives the sense of True Infiniteness by continuously counting the Explicit Limit.

This is just another Marketing Slogan :)

One of the most important reasons for me using Rediffmail is for its speed and its lighter download ( a normal page from yahoo may need about 75-90 KB , it is much less in rediff). But the negative points are their spam messages , what a headache. Well,nobody needs “Unlimited Mail storage”, and knowing what kind of company Rediff is, I think They will shut down your account , once it reaches a specifyed limit, say 2GB. So much for “Unlimited Storage”.

All in all, Gmail Rocks with their Ajax interface.

well quite gud but i was disappointed after seeing lots of spam in my inbox just after signup…about 60.

I dont think they can take over gmail or even yahoo mail just because of their lots of spams flodding in the inbox.
